Melting Heat Transfer and Radiation Effects on Jeffrey Fluid Flow over a Continuously Moving Surface with a Parallel Free Stream
This article is proposed to address the melting heat transfer of a Jeffrey fluid in Blasius and Sakiadis flow caused due to a moving surface. Thermal radiation and a constant free stream are considered in this mathematical model. The non-linear coupled dimensionless equations from the governing equations are attained by employing appropriate similarity transformations. The resulting dimensionle...

We investigated the thermal and electrical conductivity of water seeded with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) synthesized using the alcohol catalytic chemical vapour deposition method. Sodium deoxycholate was used as the surfactant to prepare stable nanofluids, which we then thoroughly characterized by microscopic and spectroscopic methods. Electrical conductivity measurements showed powe...

متن کاملModeling transient absorption and thermal conductivity in a simple nanofluid.
Molecular dynamics simulations are used to simulate the thermal properties of a model fluid containing nanoparticles (nanofluid). By modeling transient absorption experiments, we show that they provide a reliable determination of interfacial resistance between the particle and the fluid. The flexibility of molecular simulation allows us to consider separately the effect of confinement, particle...

Molecular dynamics simulations are used to model the thermal properties of a fluid containing solid nanoparticles (nanofluid). The flexibility of molecular simulation allows us to consider the effects of particle mass, particle-particle and particle-fluid interaction and that of the spatial distribution of the particles on the thermal conductivity. We show that the heat conductivity of a well d...
